Dearborn police offer birthday party drive-by celebrations for kids

Drive-by birthday parades are becoming more prevalent during the "Stay Home, Stay , Safe" executive order. And the Dearborn Police Department wants to make sure children can still have a special celebration from a safe distance.

The city will dispatch a police vehicle to drive past the home of the birthday girl or boy with their lights flashing and sirens wailing.

For information or to arrange a birthday drive-by, contact. Sgt. Michael Gracer at mgracer@ci.dearborn.mi.us. The City of Dearborn also wants those who have the special celebrations to send their videos of the police parade.

Jason Sudeikis and Seth Meyers' kids starred in a cut SNL sketch titled "Unicorn," which aired on Monday night. In the Second Chance Theatre segment for Late Night With Seth Meyers, Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde' children, Otis, 6, and Daisy, 3, and Meyers' children, Ashe, 4, and Axel, 2, resurrected a scrapped sketch penned by SNL writer Mike O'Brien about a unicorn with pink eye. Filmed across three different backyards due to quarantine, "Unicorn" also stars Sudeikis and O'Brien as a father and a unicorn caregiver, respectively.
